Abstract:As the supply chain of medical devices shows high vulnerability under the context of public health emergencies, it is necessary to judge and evaluate the influencing factors. This paper, with the aid of Grounded theory and the method of questionnaire survey, identifies and screens the vulnerability indicators of the medical device supply chain, and then based on the relevant data of medical device in 2020, it uses the combination weighting method to assign weight to the vulnerability indicators, and evaluates the supply chain vulnerability with cloud model method. The evaluation results show that the level of public health emergencies is the primary factor affecting the vulnerability of the medical device supply chain, the surge in short-term demand for medical devices is an important reason for increasing vulnerability of the supply chain, and the impact of events has led to an imbalance in the collaborative operation between supply chain nodes. Therefore, it is suggested that we should carry out dynamic monitoring and management on public health events effectively, control the temporal and spatial scope of the impact, establish necessary emergency reserves and increase production capacity reserves for demand variation. Above all, the way to enhancing supply chain coordination is to establish a dynamic and flexible emergency supply chain system.
