In April 2026， General Secretary Xi Jinping replied in a letter to all faculty and students of the four Jiaotong universities， charting the course for the 130-year-old Jiaotong Universities to serve national development. Standing at the historical threshold of its 130th anniversary， the School of Traffic and Transportation， Beijing Jiaotong University， will take the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s reply letter as the fundamental guideline for the disciplinary construction and development of its transportation studies.
