Abstract:Red culture is an advanced culture with Chinese characteristics formed under the guidance of Marxism by the CPC through uniting and leading the masses in long term revolution, construction and reform, and is a valuable spiritual wealth. In the new era, the in-depth promotion of red culture integration into the ideological and political education of postgraduates is an important initiative for colleges and universities to adapt to the demands of the times, to deeply implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education, and to cultivate top-notch innovative talents. The current postgraduate red culture education in colleges and universities has begun to see results, but there are also problems such as relatively conventional classroom teaching method and weak practical education, relatively limited effectiveness of the network publicity utilization, and insufficient guarantee for talent cultivation. Therefore, colleges and universities should make comprehensive efforts from the “four-dimension” of classroom teaching, practical experience, network publicity and talent cultivation guarantee, and further improve the appeal of classroom teaching by sharing stories of red education by good communications; further strengthen the attraction of practical teaching activities by ingenious use of red education occasion and field, optimize the spread of red education to further enhance the penetration of network publicity, and refine the red education chain to further strengthen the support of talent cultivation.
