| On the Situation and Path of Adhering to Theoretical Innovation of the Communist Party of China |

Abstract Adhering to theoretical innovation is an important historical experience accumulated by the Chinese Communist Party over the past century. In the new era， the CPC’s adherence to and promotion of theoretical innovation are endowed with significant advantages and strategic opportunities， that is， theoretical characteristics of Marxism， the solid foundation for the Sinicization of Marxism， the urgent call for the great practice at home and abroad， and the overall favorable international environment. At the same time， it is also facing practical challenges like the turbulent international environment， the world’s scientific and technological and cultural progress， the arduous task of domestic reform and development， and the self-improvement of the Party. To promote theoretical innovation in the new era， we must follow the practical path of learning from the experience and lessons of theoretical innovation in the past century， carrying forward the theoretical trait of advancing with the times， and enhancing the practical ability of the whole Party in theoretical innovation.
