| Research on the Previous Sixth Plenary Sessions of the CPC Since the Reform and Opening-up |

Abstract Since the reform and opening-up， the Communist Party of China has held a total of nine “Sixth Plenary Sessions”. Although the central themes are not the same， they show a consistent logic line， reflecting the CPC’s exploration of the goal of “China’s modernization” and socialism with Chinese characteristics. Standing in a new historical position， the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee summed up the Party’s history of century-long struggle in the form of “historical resolutions”， echoing the “historical resolutions” of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee. It reflects the Party’s historical consciousness of continuous self-revolution while deepening reform， and points out the direction for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
