Abstract Xi Jinping’s important exposition on the all-round development of mankind contains the mechanism of the combination of cultural heritage and reality observation， ideological foundation and Sinicization application， spiritual inheritance and practical innovation， and has a profound theoretical basis and practical conditions. The new era promotes the all-round development of mankind， taking cultivating people with comprehensive qualities as the ideal requirement and adhering to the two-way interaction between people and social development， with the realization of a better life as the goal， people’s health as the main guarantee， and honest and hard work as the way of realization. These new ideas have important value implications for enriching the Marxist theory on the all-round development of mankind， promoting the modernization process of people in building a socialist modernized country in an all-round way， and helping the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
