| The Main Contents and Practical Requirements of Improving the Systems and Regulations for the Party’s Self-reform |

Abstract The 20th National Congress of the CPC put forward the proposition of “improving the systems and regulations for the Party’?s self-reform”， which is the practical need of promoting the institutionalization， standardization， and scientific practice of full and rigorous Party self-governance and the Party’?s self-reform in the new era. Improving the systems and regulations for the Party’?s self-reform includes strengthening a system with the Party’s political building as the leadership， establishing and perfecting a system with the Party’s founding mission firmly in mind， implementing a system with the Party’?s organizational line firmly in place， building a system with the work style as a regular long-term mechanism which strengthens discipline， and constructing an integrated system with institutions and mechanisms that dare not， cannot， and do not want to be corrupt. To improve the systems and regulations for the Party’?s self-reform， we need to improve the system of intra-party rules and regulations， improve the total-coverage， authoritative and highly-effective oversight system under the Party’?s unified leadership， make political oversight more specific， precise， and regular， give full play to the role of political inspection， and fulfill the political responsibility of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party.
