Abstract：Since the establishment of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law， the academic and theoretical circles have continuously promoted the research on it， and have achieved many high-quality research results. They have conducted extensive and in-depth research mainly around the background and foundation of the formation， theoretical system， basic characteristics， and value implications of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law， and have formed a series of important research results， which have great significance and value for learning， promoting， and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law， as well as building socialist modernization in an all-round way on the track of the rule of law. Nevertheless， there are still some limitations. In the future， text research should be strengthened， highlighting systematic and relevance research， enhancing the academic depth of theoretical research， and promoting practical application research.
