Social Collaboration Mechanism in the Practice and Teaching of Ideological and Political Education in Universities under the Initiative of the “Great Ideological and Political Education”

Abstract:The innovative educational concept of the “Great Ideological and Political Education” proposed by President Xi Jinping points out the direction for the reform and innovation as well as high-quality development of the ideological and political courses. The “Great Ideological and Political Education” has rich connotation, therefore we should not only try to comprehend the precise meaning of “great”, but also know how to make good use of it. The key to the practice of the Great Ideological and Political Education is to establish a sense of collaboration, extensively mobilize social forces and resources to support the practical teaching activities of colleges and universities, to ensure the coordination and integration within universities and between university and social elements regarding aspects like the contents, forms, management, mechanism, functions and guarantee of practical teaching. For this end, efforts should be made to build a university-society collaboration mechanism for ideological and political course practical teaching, and by strengthening the top-level design, optimizing the collaborative chain and enriching the teaching content, the quality and efficiency of practical teaching of the ideological and political courses in colleges and universities can be promoted, and the achievements of collaborative education will be consolidated.
